NFL Week 4 Power Rankings

  1. Los Angeles Rams: The Rams looked great in their victory over the Buccaneers last Sunday. Matthew Stafford is an early MVP candidate and their defense is a top 10 unit in the league.
  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Despite the loss to the Rams, the Buccaneers are still the most well rounded team in football. Tom Brady’s arm looks stronger than it has been in years, Rob Gronkowski is turning back the clock, and they have the best front seven on defense in the league.
  3. Green Bay Packers: The Packers have some holes on defense that they need to address, but their high-powered offense is enough to win them games. Aaron Rodgers looks like the player he was last year, leading a game winning drive with only 37 seconds left on the clock against San Francisco.
  4. Buffalo Bills: The Bills have a case to be number three after Josh Allen’s five TD performance against Washington. They also happen to play in a division with the Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots, so things look good for them moving forward.
  5. Cleveland Browns: After a ridiculous 4.5 sack performance from Myles Garrett last Sunday against the Bears, Cleveland deserves this high of a ranking. Their run-heavy offense will serve them well in the weeks moving forward, as the next three weeks they play poor run defenses.
  6. Las Vegas Raiders: The Raiders are surprisingly off to a 3-0 start. Derek Carr and Darren Waller are an extremely formidable duo on offense, while Maxx Crosby and Casey Hayward have turned around a defensive unit that was one of the worst in the league last year.
  7. Arizona Cardinals: Despite Kliff Kingsbury being their head coach, the Arizona Cardinals are 3-0. Kyler Murray looks like he has taken a huge step forward from last year, and their defense has remained surprisingly stout throughout the season, even holding Derrick Henry to under 3.5 yards per carry.
  8. Baltimore Ravens: After Justin Tucker nailed an insane 66 yard field goal at the end of the 4th quarter to beat Detroit, the Ravens are now 2-1. Despite sustaining a massive amount of injuries their defense is solid, and Lamar Jackson is a threat to go off every Sunday.
  9. Kansas City Chiefs: In what may be the most shocking development this year, the Kansas City Chiefs have a losing record for the first time since Patrick Mahomes became the team’s starter. However, their talent on offense combined with excellent coaching still warrants them a place in the top 10.
  10. Los Angeles Chargers: After beating the Chiefs last Sunday, the Los Angeles Chargers look legit. Justin Herbert is an unreal talent who has great weapons to work with, and with Derwin James healthy, the Chargers defense is very scary.
