Cole Tamondong
The position for Tech Editor on the Trapeze Staff is Senior Cole Tamondong. Cole joined Trapeze during his Junior year after being advised to by Ms. Fox when he took her American Journalism class in Sophomore year. “I didn’t really know what to expect,” says Cole. “It was a void that I didn’t know anything about.” Cole was pleasantly surprised by the experiences he had as a staffer. Cole worked on some of the hardest stories but was able to experience the school in a way he never knew. “I got better at talking to people I don’t know through interviews and it made me appreciate the school more,” says Cole. “I learned about board meetings, teachers I never met and clubs I didn’t know existed.” Alongside gaining a new appreciation for OPRF, Cole’s work ethic approved over the course of the year which prepared him well for his role as an editor.

As Tech Editor, Cole is in charge of the website and podcast. Since Tech Editor is a position that did not exist until this year, Cole can envision what the role should be for future years. “I want to make Trapeze more relevant and reach more people,” says Cole. “I want to make the whole school feel involved.”
