Students in science teacher Christina McKittrick’s Tropical Field Ecology class traveled to Costa Rica for 10 days this summer to study the local wildlife and immerse themselves in the culture. Junior Max Maas said, “You explore nature and animals firsthand while also learning about the country. This course is hands down life-changing.”
According to McKittrick, students traveled to San Jose, Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio and Coastal Puntarenas. The trip took place from July 8 to July 17 this year.
