Week 14 Power Rankings and Week 15 Game Picks

NFL Week 14/15

Week 14 Power Rankings

  1. Chiefs: They are the obvious choice for the number one spot. They played one quarter of bad football on Sunday, but after that, they had no trouble taking care of business. I think this Chiefs team actually looks better than it did last year, and I can’t see anybody in the AFC stopping them from reaching the Super Bowl.
  2. Packers: The Packers clinched the NFC North this weekend, thanks to another brilliant performance from Aaron Rodgers. As of now, the Packers may have the most dangerous offense in the league with Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and Davante Adams. If the Packers win their last three games, they will have the one seed locked up.
  3. Bills: That was an impressive performance from the Bills. Coming into the season, everyone knew the Bills defense had some talent, and I think the defense has lived up to its expectations so far. But more importantly, Josh Allen and Stephon Diggs are on fire right now. Diggs put up 10 reception for 130 yards and a touchdown against a Steelers defense that is widely considered the best in the league.
  4. Steelers: The Steelers, who were undefeated just two weeks ago, are now a two-loss team. While their defense still looks strong, the offense has some major concerns. Ben Roethlisberger is playing mediocre at best, and the Steelers running game has totaled less than 100 yards in the last two games combined. The offense has a chance to find some rhythm this week against one of the worst rush defenses in the Cincinnati Bengals,
  5. Saints: Brees is back this week, and the Saints need him more than ever right now. Don’t get me wrong, Jalen Hurts played a good game on Sunday. But at the end of the day, the Saints still lost to a struggling Eagles team. Taysom Hill played a couple of solid games as the starting quarterback, but any success he had was easily negated by that horrendous performance against the Eagles. I’ll say it again, when Brees’s time in New Orleans is up, I think Jameis Winston is a better option to take over.
  6. Rams: The Rams had an impressive 24-3 victory over the Patriots this week, moving them to first place in the division. Despite Jared Goff’s inconsistencies, the Rams have the best defense in the league in terms of yards given up per game. Their NFC West title hopes may come down to a week 16 showdown against the Seahawks, who also have a 9-4 record.
  7. Browns: Baker Mayfield is finally starting to prove that he can be a successful quarterback in the NFL. He and the Browns offense pretty much scored on demand against the Ravens, and the Ravens defense had played well in the games leading up to that Monday night thriller. I have concerns about this defense, but the Browns have proved that they can hang with the big boys.
  8. Colts: The main appeal of the Colts is their defense, but their opponents haven’t been kept under 20 points since week 10. Nevertheless, the Colts look like they have their playoff spot locked up, playing the 4-7 Texans this week and the 1-12 Jaguars in week 17.
  9. Seahawks: The Seahawks just went out and took care of business Sunday. After losing to the Giants, a blowout win was exactly what the Seahawks needed. But they have to keep their eyes on the road ahead of them because they have not played well on the road, and this Sunday they have to travel across the country to face a tricky Washington Football Team.
  10. Titans: The Titans are atop the AFC South with a 9-4 record and a tie-breaker over the Colts based on their divisional records. Ryan Tannehill has played surprisingly well and Derrick Henry has played at an MVP level. Even though there are some serious concerns in their secondary, the Titans are a good “dark horse” pick to win the AFC.
  11. Ravens
  12. Dolphins
  13. Buccaneers
  14. Cardinals
  15. Bears
  16. Football Team
  17. Raiders
  18. 49ers

  21. Giants
  22. Lions
  23. Chargers
  24. Patriots
  25. Falcons

  27. Broncos
  28. Panthers
  29. Texans
